Well, I too have had a hard time getting into this assignment, but here's my best (or, more to the point, my least-worst) effort.....

MY TOMBSTONE - FINALLY

Obviously, I also had a hard time getting motivated to do this assignment...here is what I ended up with (emphasis was on going overboard with GIMP, rather than on a witty tombstone engraving, obviously)....




Props to Helen Triantafillou, for creating awesome Pixmap Brushes for GIMP (how I got the intial tree and grass images, which I refined from there..)

My Tombstone Project

Made it just in time! Hello.exe was telling me it was 11:59 when I was uploading this. It posted right when some guy that wasn't Dick Clark was counting 20 seconds to the new year. (The time stamp will be later, due to CST vs eastern time, and modifying this text on this entry...)


I must admit that I, obviously, had difficulty getting into this challenge.
